Midlife hair seems to have a midlife crisis of its own. It is either graying, changing texture, thinning, falling out or appearing in great numbers on your chin. Or, maybe all the above. The thinning hair bit is one that took me completely by surprise. Most of my head is still covered but I have noticed an annoying baldness pattern developing at my temples. Whassup with that??
Christopher Hopkins, The Makeover Guy, gives us the lowdown in this great article. He not only tells us what’s happening but gives us some very useful tips for creating volume with those thinning locks. Thank you, Christopher!
I’m not a big believer in packing light, I’m afraid, although I never quite looked at that as a positive thing. No matter how hard I try, I can’t seem to help trying to cover every possible contingency that might come up during my travels. And, in fact, I more often than not find myself wishing for something I didn’t pack!
So, it’s nice to be validated by this amusing essay by our member, Beth Schrader, who provides a number of reasons why keeping it on the light side is not a good idea.
This guide is for those of you who are pretending to act like Twitter is silly, but are really, secretly wanting to give it a try :) I thought it was the goofiest thing I'd ever heard of, but my snoopiness got the better of me and I spent a few months playing with it. I have found it to be a great way to get to know people who are thinking and exchanging information about ideas and topics I’m interested in.
So, if you’re just the tiniest bit curious, here is a very basic guide for what it’s all about. If you’re a hard-core Tweep, this isn’t for you.
