A midlife crisis
or woman in bloom?
Can't feel the difference
as I heat up the room...

am I hot cuz i'm cool
or hot as a rule??
cuz my temperature's rising
and I feel like a fool!

Face getting red..
heart beating fast...
sweat beads rolling...
I need a cold glass!!

Emotions all over,
never knowing the whys...
nothing is right
Hey....check out those guys!

Don't wanna feel old,
still feel useful and vital..
still have some good years,
just a tad homicidal...

Try to laugh it all off..
make some sense of it all
one thing is sure...
