Food And The Dying

It’s an unfortunate fact that the older we get, the more likely it is that we will face a dying parent, friend, or spouse.  Very few of us have had much experience with the dying process and we simply don’t know what to do if our loved one doesn’t want to eat.  Or, wants to eat but can’t really eat normally.
 
Deanna Cochran is an RN skilled in palliative care and end of life issues and her calling is comforting and supporting those who are dealing with a dying loved one.  In this article, she helps us understand some ways to deal with dying and various food scenarios.
