Sigh.  Would you agree that aging in a culture that worships youthful looks is one of the hardest parts of moving through midlife?  There is so much pressure to look good and hold the wrinkles at bay.  And, of course, there is a huge, lucrative industry built around this youth obsession.

Our member, Cindy LaFerle, shares a recent experience as a writer trying to get on board with ‘honest aging’ but bumping into a wall created by the beauty industry’s advertising dollars.
