Chin Hairs, ARGHHH!!! 2008/02/19 17:43 Karma: 0
Can someone PUHLEASE help me find the perfect set of tweezers or apparatus to keep these dratted things under control??

There just aren't enough of them to laser or electrolicize...at least I don't think so. Anyone?

That's the sly annoyance of them, they are few and far between. Easily detectable (yet wildly aggravating!) by brushing your fingers across them, but invisible to these middle aged eyes. And I've yet to find the pair of tweezers that will pull them out when I do manage to get them in my grip.

What are they made of anyway?? NASA should investigate these amazingly light weight, almost invisible, enormously strong fibers!

Grrrr....Help please!

Yesterday I was in a departmetn store and decidedc to buy some make-up. Well, no problem, said the sales clerk. In fact, she decided she'd apply the make-up on me to show me how beautiful I could be with a little dark shading here and a littel blush there. OMG, I looked fabulous... until she handed me the hand mirror and I spotted a nest of silver neck hairs hanging about three inches long. ARGHHH is right.

I find a good pair of tweezers in natural light with a good mirror aids in the elimination of these ugly things. I like to do it when sitting in the car waiting for my husband. And, yes, those white long hairs could assist us in getting jobs in the circus side shows.

So I mention this other issue, I have one hair that we call my "circus" hair that grows in the middle of my forehead...it's light and feathery and I never notice it until it's about an inch long. I pluck it, forget about it and the next thing you know, it's back.

I haven't had the pleasure of the chin hairs yet, but have noticed my eyebrows turning white. And coarse. And growing straight out. This weekend I discovered a great new aid: eyebrow gel. After filling in the white hairs with eyebrow pencil, I managed to get them all going in the same direction with the gel. And they stand out a bit more, too. Just got the inexpensive Maybelline version and it works great!

I have had a little luck in my driveway sitting in the car plucking the pesky things out. But then there is the subject of tweezers. They are not all created equal has been my experience. Any favorite kind you use?

Oh yeah, I have one of those circus hairs in the middle of my right cheek. Only it isn't light and feathery. It's stiff and black...and it seems to grow literally 2 inches in a single night. One day no sign of it, the next it's sticking straight out of my face. Luckily my tweezers do seem to take care of it.

Geesh.

Other stories say that the bag was already in existence and the actress liked it so much that she started a trend and the name was ultimately changed in her honor. Other versions have Birkin carrying a similar hermes bag offersin Dumas¡¯ presence that was made of canvas and this inspired him to design a high-end model for her. But regardless of which story, or parts of the different stories, is true and quite how the hermes birkin 25cm replica came into being, one thing that the fashion world agrees on is that the Birkin is the second purse in the Herm¨¨s line to be named after someone famous. The first is thehermes birkin kelly difference, which took its name from Grace Kelly, who was a large fan of this style and even included it in a photo shoot for a magazine cover.
