Great question, Allison. This is an experience we’ve all had, "hitting the wall." It’s a crucial moment, because it often proves to be a turning point.
When you hit the wall, it usually means one of two things. Either you’re exhausted, or you’re resisting.
In either case, it’s best to take a step back. Take a time out, get quiet, and pay attention to what’s happening. That’s a good prompt for daily freewriting: "What’s happening?"
When you begin to listen to what your mind, heart, and body want to tell you, you’ll be able to sort out your next steps. If you do find that you’re stuck in resistance, you’ll need to embrace it wholeheartedly, rather than pushing it away.
